Exhibitors Add Value To IPC Independent Pharmacy Conference

Mar 2017

The IPC Independent Pharmacy Conference Trade Show Exposition will provide attendees with the opportunity to meet with the industry’s leading vendors. The Conference will take place April 6-9, 2017 at the Hyatt Regency Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale and is open to all independent pharmacies.

According to Rudy Letellier, Owner of Waveland Pharmacy, “IPC always has a wonderful trade show experience, and we’ve had an excellent time at IPC’s Conferences.”

“One of the principal goals of the Independent Pharmacy Conference is to support the business side of independent pharmacy,” said Don Anderson, IPC President and CEO. Pharmacies will have the opportunity to partner with vendors and business partners that can truly help them be more profitable.

As the nation’s largest independent pharmacy buying group, IPC is focused on inviting companies that can bring added value to an independent pharmacy. To that end, Anderson says, the ability to exhibit at the conference is limited to companies that have a pre-established relationship with IPC and demonstrated superior performance.

Anderson says this year’s exhibit hall will host companies that provide cosmetics, photo processing, greeting cards and several other front end supplies. Also included are data analytics and pharmacy operations vendors, pharmacy dispensing systems, robotics, POS systems as well as systems that support medication synchronization and Medicare plan selection. Several companies with unique products or programs for providing enhanced health care services will be attending as well as companies that provide lending and financial services. Branded and generic pharmaceutical companies will be present, along with IPC’s contracted wholesaler and event sponsor, McKesson Drug Company.

In keeping with IPC’s mission of helping pharmacies succeed, IPC has contracted with a marketing services firm to photo each owner and submit it along with a press release to the owner’s local newspaper. The press release will feature the pharmacy owner’s attendance at a national pharmacy conference and participation in nationally accredited continuing education courses for professional education in the latest trends and issues in pharmacy.
