Smith Drug Names Associate VP Strategic Accounts

Smith Drug Company (SDC) has announced that Joe Willaman has been named to the newly-created position of Associate Vice President of Strategic Accounts. In this role, Willaman will partner with regional chains to enable them to realize the benefits of Smith Drug Company products and services.
“Joe joined our team two years ago and has made a significant impact on our business,” said Jeff Foreman, R.Ph., President, Smith Drug Company and Burlington

Drug Company. “Joe’s experience in strategic programs are a natural fit for this market segment. He was integral in developing our pricing optimization program, which is a tremendous benefit for all of our customers.” 

A graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management, Willaman’s resume includes marketing experience at Cardinal Health and roles at McKesson in generics, pricing, and national accounts.

“I am looking forward to the opportunity to lead this growth initiative,” said Willaman. “Smith Drug Company and Burlington Drug Company are known for the excellent service and support it gives to all of its customers, and I intend to see that our regional chain customers receive that same level of attention.”

Smith Drug Company is the original division of J M Smith Corporation and Burlington Drug Company has been operating in the Burlington, Vermont area for 125 years. Together, Smith Drug Company and Burlington Drug Company serve 32 states, Washington, D.C. and the United States Virgin Islands.
