Diabco–HIPAA Billing Systems LLC, in Delray Beach, Fl., has introduced POS-Success, a point-of-sale (POS) system that uses the latest touch-screen technology.  The system is fully integrated with debit- and credit-card processing, gift-card processing, and customer management and security systems, as well as the company’s AR-Express system for posting payments. According to the company, there are no limits on the transaction volume that the system can handle, and all transactions are handled in real time, meaning immediate availability to management. The system can support an unlimited number of terminals and store locations, and has extensive retail-specific features built in that HME providers are starting to use and benefit from.

Customer purchase histories, with the price and total purchases, are stored, along with specific notes such as preferences.

A wide range of management reports is available, including inventory management features to avoid over- and under-stocked merchandise, with chain-wide access to quantities on hand.

System security includes a transaction log with the date, time, and name of the employee ringing up the sale. Security levels can be controlled for who has access to what information.
