In an effort to send the message that voiceTech is more than an IVR company, it has chosen “fusion technology — Solutions for Success” for its new branding. Tim Garofalo, president and CEO, explains that the technology his company provides creates integration within the pharmacy with pharmacy systems, POS systems, and workflow systems. “We currently offer 10 solution modules to help pharmacists deal with the many challenges they face, and IVR is just one of our solutions,” he says.
Garofalo points out that voiceTech has recently completed what he terms “the most robust outbound calling interface and application module available.” This is being branded under the name Rx-Call Express. It can deliver outbound calls for refill reminders and compliance, will-call reminders, clinic announcements, customer service messages and surveys, and medication therapy management. Data is stored for each call that can be retrieved and analyzed at a later date.
Transaction Data Systems was the first voiceTech technology partner to complete the integration of Rx-Call Express into its Rx30 system.
“We had well over 300 very impressed pharmacies spreading the word about the positive impact of having integrated outbound calling, and we now have over a dozen technology partners queued up to be certified for this product,” says Garofalo.
