Rite Aid has decided that it will use eRx Network exclusively for Medicare Part B transaction processing and revenue cycle management services in all of its stores, as well as for state Medicaid DME claims and clinical administration programs. Bill Wolfe, Rite Aid group VP for managed care and government affairs, says that he sees the relationship with eRx Network "allowing Rite Aid to effectively manage reimbursement of Medicare Part B and Medicaid DME claims."

In addition, Kmart Pharmacy will be using eRx Network for its claims switching, editing, and reporting. "After a rigorous evaluation process, we determined the eRx Network offered the best combination of technology, innovation, and pharmacy domain expertise," says Mark Doerr, VP of pharmacy for Kmart.

eRx Network provides services to over 42,000 retail pharmacies through a secure, reliable, performance-oriented network and has provided claims management solutions to pharmacy chains and independents since 2001.

"Our company is very pleased to expand our relationship with these two chains," says Murray Lyle, president and COO of eRx Network.
