Plexus, a global leader in contract manufacturing with a big presence in the manufacturing and assembly of high-technology systems for the medical device and aerospace industries, will now manufacture the Kirby Lester line of counting, dispensing, and verification systems.

The Plexus facility in Buffalo Grove, Ill., just seven miles from the Kirby Lester facility, has won numerous awards for its manufacturing processes, as well as for its employee relations. Recently, it was selected as one of Chicago's 101 best and brightest companies.

Garry Zage, Kirby Lester's president, sees the relationship as helping his company further develop advanced technologies for the pharmacy market.
