A new alliance between the two organizations will deliver all of the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Foundation’s HealthMapRx commercial programs through Mirixa.

Mirixa-enabled patient care programs will be augmented with the APhA Foundation’s respected and nationally renowned employer-based disease management and wellness research efforts. In addition, this alliance between the National Community Pharmacists Association, which sponsors Mirixa, and the APhA Foundation presents a new opportunity for community pharmacy to deliver patient care services.

Mirixa will mange the partnership. The APhA Foundation will continue to focus on its core mission to improve the quality of consumer health outcomes through demonstration projects, incentive grants, and scholarship programs.

The APhA Foundation gained national recognition for its Diabetes Ten City Challenge and its partnership in the Asheville Project.
