Brightree, located in Duluth, Ga., a provider of business management software for DME providers, has acquired C&S Billing Center, a DME billing service provider located in Antioch, Ill.

According to the company, this acquisition positions Brightree to be the first company to own and deliver both a pure Internet-hosted software application and an integrated billing service solution. Brightree’s flagship SaaS business management solution will be the basis for the offering and will be complemented by outsourced billing services through C&S.

“The new bundled offering will make the old billing services model obsolete,” says Dave Cormack, Brightree’s president and CEO. “No longer will providers need to fax tons of paper, rekey the same data into multiple systems, or be kept in the dark regarding what has been billed, rejected, or paid.”

Brightree’s SaaS offering addresses not only DME providers, but also orthotics and prosthetic practitioners, as well as sleep labs.
