ScriptPro Gets Design Award | Print |  E-mail

ScriptPro’s SP Datapoint, a compact, interactive countertop unit for entering, filling, verifying, and tracking prescriptions, received the 2008 Good Design award, given by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. The unit was designed by KEM STUDIO in Kansas City, Mo.

The award emphasizes design of the highest form, function, and aesthetic. Products submitted are judged by design professionals using criteria established in the original 1950 program. Other 2008 winners included the iMac, iPod Touch, and HP TouchSmart PC.

SP Datapoint is part of the SP Central retail store package, which includes the SP Central pharmacy management system and integrates an adjustable-height touch-screen monitor, barcode scanner, and optional SP printer label device for the pharmacy with limited space.
