Integra’s new partnership with Manchac Technologies will synchronize the barcode technologies used between Integra’s workflow and document management systems, DocuTrack, and Manchac’s DOSIS L60 robotic dispensing system.

This will allow users of these systems to read barcodes created by DOSIS and have them automatically associated when they are faxed or scanned back into the pharmacy. At this point they can be batch-submitted, saving time on order entry. Louie Foster, Integra’s director of product management, says he sees this as providing a seamless experience when transitioning to the DOSIS system.
