|Technology and the Future of Pharmacy: A Roundtable Discussion||| Print ||
The practice of pharmacy never stands still, and the current environment promises as much change as ever. We put together a group of five pharmacists and asked them to talk about where they see pharmacy headed. Read what they have to say about the prospects for the continuing shift to a more clinical role for pharmacy, which technologies they see as key for improving pharmacy's integration with other providers, which technologies offer the most promise for connecting with patients, and what these pharmacists are doing to prepare their pharmacies for the future.

The author presents some of what he's learned from his research and offers practical tools for understanding and assessing workarounds.
