Northeast Valley Health Corporation in San Fernando, Calif., a nonprofit community 
health center serving uninsured and underserved residents of San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys, is now using Innovation's PharmASSIST ROBOTx robotic dispensing system in its 12 health centers, including a state-of-the-art mobile van.

The robotic systems allow the health centers to keep up with the daily prescription workload, where the number of prescriptions filled can reach 1,200 a day. The robot is filling about 50% of these prescriptions.

In addition to boosting productivity, the dispensing system is facilitating plans to open another center without having to hire additional staff. According to Rosie Jadidian, director of pharmacy, "This is the first time we've been able to move forward with our current staff, so we're also looking forward to realizing a true labor savings because of the technology."
