McKesson Patient Relationship Solutions, a division of McKesson Corporation, has announced that last year its medication adherence program reached more than six million patients. It has also found that an increasing number of patients are enrolling in the company's LoyaltyScript program, and as a result are adhering more closely to prescribed therapies.
The program provides manufacturers with a way to strengthen patient relationships. The Web-based portal supporting the company's offerings, including LoyaltyScript, gives manufacturers secure access to enrollment, program benefit data, and adherence measures that are updated daily.
Recently, McKesson was named a laureate in the Computerworld Honors Program for the innovative technology behind its medication adherence solutions.
