After being tested in several sites over the past few months, the new version of DocuTrack is being released to the general market. According to DocuTrack project manager Louie Foster, 4.0 comes with advanced automation features. Some of the new features include dynamic bar-code support on outgoing faxes, form identification with bar codes, automatic form fill-in with pharmacy information system data, automatic fax-back and email notification of received faxes, enhanced inbound document routing, easier batch refill submission, and a new CRM module that allows reports to be formatted and indexed with DocuTrack. Integra plans to begin upgrading current DocuTrack customers to 4.0, which it estimates will take six months to complete. Because of the significant enhancements, both the operating and database systems will require updating to the company’s new base platform of Windows Server 2003 and SQL Server 2005. The company has also announced that it has joined the Intermec Honours Partner Program as a reseller of Intermec devices to the long-term care pharmacy market. Integra will promote the use of the CN3, a handheld computer with wireless broadband data transmission capabilities, with its DeliveryTrack product.
