RNA Health Information Systems hosted its 2007 Annual Users’ Conference in October.  During the event, pharmacists from across the country had the opportunity to attend sessions dealing with timely industry topics such as electronic medical records, efficient workflow management, receipt and application of electronic third-party remittances, e-prescribing, and inventory management.

Patricia Crawford, president of LTC Solutions, Inc., kicked off the conference with a keynote speech focused on “Marketing your Extraordinary Services.” Crawford explained the importance of setting one’s business apart from the competition by delivering extraordinary customer service. She provided examples of such service opportunities in the long-term care pharmacy market.

A highlight of the conference was the introduction of the RNA Helix pharmacy system. The Helix system is the company’s next-generation pharmacy management system, featuring full Windows functionality and a graphical user interface.
