In an agreement with Net-Rx of Vancouver, Wash., H.D. Smith will be offering the Net-Rx Profit Optimizer service as an additional business tool for its customers. This service provides a pharmacy with a dedicated analyst who performs a comprehensive assessment of drug pricing in the pharmacy's market area. This also includes a billing analysis of all claims and the implementation of changes directly into the pharmacy management system.

According to Dale Smith, chairman and CEO of H. D. Smith, located in Springfield, Ill., pharmacy owners can use the experience and expertise of a pharmacy consultant for a fraction of the cost of a full-time employee.
