Centice has announced that in addition to sensor verification of drug type and strength, PASS Rx will now incorporate Wolters Kluwer Health’s Medi-Span Drug Image Database and Drug Imprint Database. This will provide additional content on thousands of prescription and OTC medications, regardless of form and packaging, to also visually verify a drug being dispensed against high-resolution images and descriptions of the medication.
