The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute announced that it has granted the GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification for pharmacy automation to Parata Systems. Parata RDS is the first product in the pharmacy market to receive this designation.

“Parata is excited to lead the way in pioneering indoor air quality standards for pharmacy. It is our hope that others in the industry will follow our lead,” says Tom Rhoads, Parata executive VP.

The GREENGUARD certification program is among the most coveted and credible “green product labels,” along with the U.S. EPA ENERGY STAR program. Both programs rely on comprehensive third-party standards. GREENGUARD is further validated by independent testing and verification.
