Integrated Informatics has completed the successful installation of its POMS (pharmacy order management workflow system) product at the LHC Group, headquartered in Lafayette, La., for its long-term care pharmacies for processing medication orders. This is possible through an interface between POMS and RxLink, the pharmacy management system used at the pharmacy, through embedded code using TCP/IP communications. The integration provides patient demographic information, pop-up order screens, and the ability to store in RxLink an order image from POMS. The link is a URL hyperlink, which when clicked on displays the corresponding order image on the pharmacy screen.

The company also announced that it has entered into an agreement with St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis to install POMS and integrate it with GE’s BDM pharmacy management system. It has also formed a marketing relationship with the MHA purchasing group, to market the company’s products.
