HCC has implemented its newest pharmacy system platform, RX-1 Enterprise, in regional chains from coast-to-coast as well as in a broad base of community pharmacies. RX-1 retains the functional content of HCC legacy systems while providing a migration to new technologies and efficiencies.

RX-1 Enterprise is a Windows platform, touch-screen-driven system with features that help busy pharmacies fill prescriptions quickly and safely, according to Larry Stephenson, VP of sales. Features driving the rapid adoption of this new technology include integrated workflow with prescription and drug imaging, analytical inventory management, and seamless flow of IVR and Internet refills. RX-1 represents an integration of pharmacy business management tools, point of sale, and claims reconciliation into a single platform for complete financial reporting.
