McKesson Pharmacy Systems' (MPS) EnterpriseRx has been installed in Ingles pharmacies since its introduction in 2006 and since then has seen multiple operational improvements across its pharmacies. Because of this, the company is extending its contract for the use of the software-as-a-service offering from MPS.

EnterpriseRx is designed with integrated workflow to provide multilocation users with broad control over the prescription-filling process. Through the centralized databases, it also safeguards information, avoids many data consistency issues, and provides authorized users with real-time access to information from any location.

MPS has over 50 clients, representing more than 3,000 retail chain, community, and health-system pharmacies, using EnterpriseRx.
