Jeff Jerkins, owner of Bubba's Medicine Shoppe in Opelika, Ala., is finding that the installation of Innovation's ROBOTx robotic-dispensing system is doing everything he expected. He wanted to increase patient safety, free up pharmacy staff to counsel patients, and improve the customer experience with his pharmacy. "The quality and efficiency of the system has helped us tremendously with guaranteeing accuracy and streamlining our heavy workload," he says.
Jerkins liked the Innovation system because of its ability to count prescriptions simultaneously. "With the volume we do, having dispensers that can count simultaneously to help us keep up is a huge plus," he says. The system has 140 dispensers that are used to handle the top movers. It is fully integrated through a real-time order flow with the Rx30 pharmacy management system he uses. |
