This unique feature allows technicians to not only image new prescriptions and select refill prescriptions efficiently, but to capture images for insurance cards and other supporting documentation. These prescriptions are then available from the pharmacy work queue for data entry and processing. In addition, HCC has incorporated a fax server application that also sends fax images to the dispensing queue for processing. For our long-term care providers, we are expanding our Internet based MAR program to incorporate advanced eMAR functions.
