NCPA 114th Annual Convention Slide Show

The National Community Pharmacists Association held its 114th Annual Convention and Trade Exposition in October in San Diego. Pharmacists had several different educational programming tracks to follow. Saturday once again featured a technology seminar, with presentations on track-and-trace, switch-based technology, data mining, EPCS, and keeping up with mobile technology, as well as a full track of programming on adherence, including a breakout session with technology vendors offering services in this area. NCPA’s long-term care division offered a number of opportunities for members to learn, from presentations about the latest innovations from several LTC pharmacies building on success to preparations for short-cycle fill and key legislative issues. One other big theme in the conference educational programming was 340B, which is seeing a great deal of interest from community pharmacists. And the conference maintained its reputation for having an exhibit hall packed with technology designed to help the pharmacists attending make strides in improving their practices. View the Album Now
