TRANSACTION DATA SYSTEMS (TDS) held its user conference SYNC 2022 in September at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts. The conference had more than 85 sessions, including overviews of POS 2.0, the upcoming reporting tool RxInsights, and an overview of combating poor reimburse ment by leveraging relationships with employer groups. Continuing education sessions covered a variety of topics, including point-of-care testing, quality measure updates, remote therapeutic monitoring as a source of revenue, and more. In the exhibit hall TDS staff gave demos and answered questions, and 40-plus vendor partners were present.

TDS CEO Jude Dieterman welcomed attendees during his keynote with an the overview of where the company is headed as the industry moves into a post-COVID-19 world. With an increased focus on its customers, TDS will offer quarterly webinars on new releases and enhancements, including third-party integrations. He shared the vision behind adding PrescribeWellness to support real-time clinical interventions and expanded patient engagement opportunities.
