PerceptiMed, the rapidly growing Silicon Valley based pharmacy technology company announced the addition of two industry veterans to its sales team.

Bob Curry, CEO of PerceptiMed, says, “Mike Powell, R.Ph., has an impressive record as a health systems manager and technology expert. Richard Thayer comes to us with a record of success in medical sales. We look forward to both of these men joining our team and helping us move forward at an even faster pace.”

Powell comes to PerceptiMed after serving at Nebraska Medicine for the past eight years, most recently as the executive director, pharmacy and nutrition care. He was on the management team that planed the recently completed expansion of the hospital’s outpatient pharmacy from 2,500 to 7,500 square feet.

Powell says, “The technology supporting scripClip is the best I have seen and I look forward to helping many more pharmacies explore ways the light guided will-call system can help them.” Powell, who lives in the Omaha, Nebraska metropolitan area will cover the nation as the Health Systems Specialist for PerceptiMed.

Thayer, who is also based in Omaha, joins the company as a Senior Account Manager and will take the lead in generating sales to community pharmacies in nine mid-western states. Most recently Thayer was the VP Behavior Health Services for Encounter Telehealth.
