SOFTWRITERS held its 12th annual FrameworkLTC User Conference at the ARIA Resort and Casino in Las Vegas in September, 2022. The conference’s theme — Solidify, Strengthen, and Scale — looked to address how LTC (long-term care) pharmacy has transformed during the COVID-19 pandemic and gave customers the chance to step back and develop new strategies to grow their business.

Customers were excited to have the chance to not only meet with peers to trade ideas, but with SoftWriters staff as well to see how the system can best support pharmacy going forward.

“Our focus is on you all, our customers, to strengthen, stabilize, and diversify your business,” Scott Beatty, company president, shared during his presentation. “These are simple concepts: solidify, strengthen, and scale. They are also really powerful. This is how we are going to build a foundation from what we have learned over the past three years to set up ourselves for a much more successful chapter in longterm care.”

The two keynote speakers were Connor Lokar, an economics expert at ITR Economics, and Jon Macaskill, a retired Navy SEAL commander turned business coach. Macaskill spoke on “leading with grit.” Breakout sessions covered how to manage efficiencies with FrameworkECM and strengthen relationships with skilled nursing facility clients. The company also presented sessions on LTC to home and best practices on accelerating pharmacy growth.

There was plenty of time in the SoftWriters labs to test drive products and features and to speak with peers to get ideas to take back home. The exhibit hall included 20-plus vendors.
